News : Carlo 2nd in Aalst; Daughter of Vic champion in Libramont
Flemish Championships in Aalst
On Saturday 28 July the annual Flemish Championship was organised in Baardegem-Aalst. In the series for two-year old colts Carlo van 't Groenenbroek earned a fine second place on a total of five. The son of Lilli van de Vosberg and Iwan van Aardenhof is still youthful, but beautiful in proportion and will become very tall. He stands on good legs with big feet. Carlo is owned by Johan Vereertbrugghen from Opwijk.Libramont
A day later, in Libramont the annual concours for the Ardennes draft horses took place. Up to 300 horses entered the competition!The family Goosse, owners of Vic van 't Groenenbroek, was one of the largest contributors and they took several championship titles home. Among other with Gipsy du Monty, a filly out of Vic, who became champion of the yearling mares. A very classy filly which trotted with much allure in the arena, or to say it with the words of the jury "a great promise for the future".
Another daughter of Vic, Guyane du Monty, was in the same series as Gipsy and became third. In the large series fillies this again was a very good result.
Congratulations to both owners; brilliant results of this Groenenbroek-offspring which makes us as breeders also very satisfied!
